Outside Sales/Business Development

Sector 7 is looking to add an experienced MSP sales professional with a consultative sales approach, a successful track record of growing both new business and expansion revenue with service providers. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high-performance sales culture, specifically managing a pipeline, delivering results against a quota, working across teams, and building productive partner relationships. The role of outside sales and business developer combines technical knowledge with sales skills to provide potential customers with advice and support on the products and services we offer. This position is supported by a base salary and performance/merit pay compensation plan.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of 500k in sales over past 1-2 years and establishing profitable customer relationships, building a sales pipeline and closing customer deals
  • Ability to understand, position and successfully sell technical solutions with the highest level of integrity
  • Knowledge of the managed service provider (“MSP”) business model
  • 3 – 5+ years’ experience in business-to-business sales/marketing in software or technology products/services

*Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or relevant field is a plus but not required

Onsite IT Support Specialist

Sector 7 is looking for a qualified IT Technician that will install and maintain hardware and software for businesses. We’re looking for someone with basic knowledge of computer software and hardware as well as a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.

Daily Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with development and maintenance of local networks
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Utilizes ticket system and documentation tools

Junior Systems Administrator

Sector 7 is looking for a qualified IT Technician that will install and maintain hardware and software for businesses. We’re looking for someone with intermediate knowledge of computer software and hardware as well as a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.

  • Utilization of network topography & OSI Model
  • Understanding of SMTP & Email Systems
  • Virtualization Technologies (Particularly VMWARE / Hyper-V)
  • Use of Microsoft Windows Server (2008/12/16)
  • Use of Microsoft Office (2013/2016)
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance

Tier 3 Technician & Team Supervisor

Sector 7 LLC is seeking someone that is a technical expert in the fields below to allow for reprioritization of the existing resource. This individual will be directly responsible for maintaining ongoing projects, management of currently projects and assisting Jr. Technical staff directly. A candidate who exudes patience and who can handle the pressure of having direct technical accountability for all divisions of our organization will excel in this role. This position requires someone who can be put into, and overcome, difficult technical scenarios on the spot. This is a growing role and responsibilities may change as our organization grows and changes.

Our technical divisions include hosting, managed services, and technology consulting. This position requires leadership along with the ability to mentor other technical resources to reach the goal of overall growth in knowledge and efficiency. This position does require 24/7 on-call responsibilities and direct accountability to the network and our clients networks.

Microsoft Server Systems:
(Hyper-V, Active Directory, Server 2016 & 2012)

  • Design, build, and ongoing setup and support of Windows Server 2016 and older operating systems.

  • Knowledge and ability to setup a complete network within Microsoft’s OS (including Active Directory) is required.

  • Ability to analyze event log and server error(s)

 

Desktop Systems:
(Including Laptops, Thin Clients)

  • The ability to comprehend and set a standard of use policy for customer desktop systems. This may include learning customer desktop applications to provide advanced support and technical direction for those unique customer challenges that may arise.

 

Networking & Routing:
(Cisco, Sophos, Ubiquiti, etc)

  • Full OSI model stack comprehension.

  • Ability to go into a client’s location and quickly diagnose / map / and cure network challenges.

 

Linux:
(CentOS/RHEL)

  • Direct knowledge of CentOS/RHEL pertaining to networking stack.

  • The ability to provide advanced support such as TCP Dumps and high level troubleshooting methods.

  • The ability to support and configure above OS’s within a customer’s environment.

 

Phone Systems:
(Yealink, Sangoma, FreePBX)

  • Full comprehension and understanding of PBX systems, SIP protocol and how to support, build, and deploy SIP based VOIP deployments.

Sr. Systems & Networking Administrator

Sector 7 is a growing computer services firm with customers located in the Detroit Michigan Metro Area.  The company provides total end to end services for our customers, mainly in a Windows environment, but has from to time to needed to provide Linux support including our PBX systems.

Sector 7 is looking for a qualified Systems and Networking administrator that will install and maintain hardware and software for businesses, either onsite or inside our Data Centers. We’re looking for someone with advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware as well as a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.

Team Coordinator

We are a managed service provideris looking looking for a Team Coordinator to blend together our technical and operational goals. This position is fast paced and may change depending on the needs of the employees, company and customers. Flexibility and adaptability are keys to success. Sector 7 is looking for an IT Intern that is willing to learn with on-the-job training, gaining real world experience by working as part of a team of technicians, solving internal and client issues.

This is an unpaid position with 5-10 hours a week, depending on availability, that could lead to full-time employment. The intern will work from our Wixom, MI office.
